In the first five months of being formed a faith community, The Table has served over 700 meals to address food insecurity and isolation; established partnerships with eight restaurants, a foundation and a growing number of churches to offer meals as well as non-perishable items to the communities of Shelton and adjoining areas; served the youth in New Haven through a chaplaincy program offering spiritual and physical food to up to twenty high school students every week.
And now we are planning to install 5 new Blessing Boxes in Shelton and adjoining areas which will help address food insecurity in our communities.
