”In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.“

Sometimes we feel physically weak in our human, fragile bodies. Which is normal. There are also times when we feel weak spiritually- when life or circumstances may seem to be out of our control. Even to the point that when we earnestly pray, we can’t even get the words out or don’t know "what or how" to pray.
That’s where one of the beautiful gifts that Jesus gave us takes over!! He gave us the Holy Spirit! (”And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. John 14:16) The Holy Spirit takes over when we are at a loss of words, as to what to pray for. Just like Jesus, the Holy Spirit intercedes for us.
It’s comforting to know that we don’t have to be confident in ourselves but must be confident in God! He knows our hearts and minds and wants nothing but for His precious children to know how much He loves them – US!!
”Rejoice always, PRAY continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.“
